Support Enfield Community Independents

The July 2024 General Election Campaign saw our candidates receive an impressive 4% of the vote within only 4 weeks of campaigning.

The November 2024 Jubilee Ward Council by-election resulted in an even better 10% share of the vote and saw us finish third behind Labour and the Tories and beating out the Greens, Liberal Democrats and Reform.

Momentum is growing locally for a community based Independent challenge, which can take on the traditional Labour/Conservative duopoly in Enfield.

We have started our campaign for the local council elections taking place in Enfield in May 2026 but we need your help to take our message to every single constituent in the Borough and provide residents with a credible third-party alternative.

How can you help?

We need your help and support in the following areas:

Branding

We are looking to raise £10k to update our logos, branding and website to strengthen the Enfield Community Independent initiative ahead of the local elections in May 2026

Leafleting

1000 A5 flyers cost approximately £40 and we aim to raise £5k to allow us to reach as many households between now and the election in 2026.

Billboards and Advertising

We are investigating the possibility of putting up a billboard nearer to the election but require an additional £5k for this together with other advertising we will undertake as the election draws closer.

Standing candidates and contesting nearly 25 wards across Enfield will not be easy but we are determined to provide residents with a credible alternative in the upcoming election and need your help in achieving this.

We are a local grassroots initiative, funded entirely by members of the local community so any amount that you can contribute would be greatly appreciated as we take on the well-established mainstream party machines.

The money raised by this appeal will be used for the local election campaign as outlined above. Anything raised over and above what is needed for the campaign will be donated to the Enfield Community Action Group so that we can continue to contest future elections in the Borough.
