Hi, I'm Emory's cousin, Alex.
Emory is at real risk of losing their housing and everything that comes with it.
My cousin is a kind and warm person. They are a disabled non-binary 30-year-old born and raised in Oakland.
They’ve been surviving month to month on a fixed SSI income, but rising costs have made it impossible to keep up. Emory has been interviewing for jobs but hasn’t been offered a position yet. Rent is due, bills are stacking up, and without urgent support, they may be forced out of their home.
We’re raising $5,000 to prevent that from happening. This is about more than just keeping a roof overhead, it's about protecting stability, safety, and the chance to move forward instead of starting over.
Your support can stop a downward spiral before it begins. Your donation—no matter the amount helps buy time, security, and peace of mind.
Please give if you can. Share if you can’t.
Let’s keep Emory housed and moving forward.
Love and gratitude,
Alex Taite
