Support Emory

My name is Angela (aka Mimi) on July 19th my grandson Emory was born to my youngest son Hayden(19) and his sweet fiance Caroline (22).

It was known before Emory was born that he had Total anomalous pulmonary Venous return to coronary sinus syndrome which means that the veins in his heart are in the wrong place and that this would require an open heart surgery to fix after birth.

The time has come and Emory's surgery has been scheduled for October 27th at Boston Children's Hospital. As you all know this can be a very difficult time for anyone but especially for very young parents just trying to get started. This surgery will require significant time away from home and work. The family lives in NH, and surgery and subsequent hospital stays will be in Boston and Portland several hours away.

Those that know me know that I've been a nurse for over 10 years and know the importance of having family support in these situations.

So this nurse, aka Mimi, is raising funds for several needs for this sweet young family.....

1. Money for Hayden (dad) to be off work as needed to be with his family during the hospital stays.

2. Family bills. At this time they are looking for their first apartment so they can live together as a family. They need help with down payments and other necessities.

3. Travel expenses so Mimi can go and be there to help for several weeks.
