Support Emmanuel's Recovery Journey

Emmanuel Menchaca is an 18-year-old, class of 2025 high school graduate. He is a hardworking young man who, in his free time, enjoys playing soccer with his friends, going to the gym, and eating Raising Cane's! Our son is such a loving, selfless, and goofy person who absolutely loves animals.

Our life was affected by a tragic situation on July 17, 2025 that I wish was a horrible dream that we could all wake up from. Emmanuel has a long journey ahead of him to recover from his gunshot wounds. Evan, our youngest, witnessed this tragedy right outside our own home, which we have been displaced from due to trauma. What was our safe haven was taken away from my whole family that night by a senseless and cowardly act from our neighbor that shot our 18-year-old son. He was supposed to be getting situated in his apartment with his older brother for college in less than a week from today.

We ask that if you are able to help us in this long time of need to cover medical expenses, moving into a new home, and loss of wages from my son, husband, and myself.
