Hi! I am Emma Traverso, a current Life Scout in Troop 582, and I am currently trying to raise money for my Eagle Scout Project! I am partnering with Garden to Table, an urban farm in downtown San Jose, to help address food insecurity in our local community. With the help of my fellow scouts, I will be constructing an outdoor community food pantry and conducting a food drive to help stock it. Through this service project, I am aiming to teach fellow scouts about wood working and facilitate the donation and accessibility of canned food items for those in need in our local community.
