Support Emma & Jack O’Brien After Losing Their Mother
Donation protected
On Tuesday, April 29th, Emily Adams O’Brien passed away after a long and difficult battle with non-alcoholic cirrhosis of the liver. For the past three years, she faced her illness with courage and grace, despite enduring severe complications in the last few months of her life. Her passing leaves behind her twin children, Emma and Jack, who are now navigating life without either of their parents.
Emily was not only a devoted mother, but a loving sister, and a compassionate friend to many. She was the type of person who gave her all to those she cared about, and the loss of her presence leaves a deep void in the hearts of everyone who knew her.
Emma and Jack, now 22, have already experienced more hardship than most. In January of 2012, they lost their father when they were just 9 years old. Since then, they have grown up quickly, helping care for their mother and holding each other up through difficult times. Both are college students and work full-time as swim coaches, juggling education, work, and life with remarkable strength.
Now, with no family nearby and the burden of funeral and living expenses ahead, Emma and Jack are facing an uncertain road. Jack is preparing to leave for the Navy in July, while Emma is working to stay grounded and stable here on her own.
This fundraiser is to help cover:
- **Funeral expenses** for their mother, Emily
- **Short-term living costs** and essentials as they transition into this next chapter
They are currently staying with a friend and working to figure out long-term arrangements. Your donation, no matter the size, will make a meaningful difference in helping them move forward with dignity and support.
If you are unable to donate, please consider sharing this fundraiser with others.
