Hi Everyone,

My name is Kayla Boyd and as most of you know I am Emma Boyd’s sister, and the aunt to her daughter, Taylin. I’m reaching out to ask for support as my sister navigates an unexpected and challenging period in her life. Emma has been dealing with a family court case since November of 2023 and due to recent family court proceedings, she has encountered some unforeseen financial burdens while working to maintain a stable, secure, and healthy environment for her daughter. As a parent, her focus has always been on providing consistency, emotional support, and safety—and while she is managing as best she can, the added financial strain has made it difficult to keep everything balanced.

While things are generally okay, the extra legal and living expenses have put some strain on her usual budget. This fundraiser is a way to help bridge the gap during this transitional time. Contributions will go toward legal fees so she can focus on other expenses to ensure her child’s well-being remains the top priority. I am not sure how successful this will be with providing her with the support needed, but I believe in the power of community during difficult times. I understand that everyone has their own challenges, so I truly value any support offered—whether it’s financial, emotional, or simply a share.
