Support Emily's Sacred Kambo Journey

Donation protected
Dear friends, family and community,

I’m reaching out with a humble heart and a deep soul-calling.

Six years ago, I entered into a sacred relationship with Kambo, the medicine of the giant monkey tree frog—an ally I have learned from, sat with and served with reverence.
Kambo saved my life and I am SO passionate about sharing it.

The sticks I use in ceremony were prepared in my training in the Amazon, held in prayer and tradition by my teacher Robinson.

2 months ago I placed an order for more and my sticks were taken by the Peruvian government in transit.
I need to find a way to acquire my sticks without the risk of them being taken again, so I am asking for help.

Kambo is not illegal in the US or Peru. But they are cracking down on it being sent out of the country via mail.

This makes it difficult for me to obtain, to continue not only my personal healing and my family’s, but my community’s as well. It can only be brought home in luggage now. It is not a bad thing.. that it will make sending Kambo via mail more difficult because so many frogs were being harmed by the over-harvesting of their secretions- to be sold in ways that were not rooted in honor and reverence.

I had hopes of having a friend who would be visiting Peru, being able to bring the sticks back for me- but those options have fallen through, and time is of the essence. The one stick I have will likely only last me through the month of June.

Folks have offered their Kambo sticks that they have to me, and for that I am so grateful- but I feel very strongly that I need to only work with and serve medicine from my teachers- from the land and frogs I connected with so deeply during my training.

This is NOT a vacation- but an important soul journey that will ripple out into my community. I wish we could stay longer and make it one.. but it is not time for that now.

I am unable to leave my son, so he will come with me (on lap) but because airfare is so expensive, my husband Josh cannot come. So this is a big mission for Finn and I, to do together- and feels like a rite of passage.

This journey will allow me to:

• Retrieve my Kambo sticks prepared in traditional ways by my teachers safely and in person

My fundraising goal is $2,500–$3,000 to cover:

• Flights for myself and Finn
• Lodging and travel within Peru
•extra collected will go toward offerings for the frogs, the land and people who carry this wisdom in a good way

While I’ve wrestled with a lot of internal resistance around asking for donations—I’ve come to understand that this is not about handouts.

This is about community, reciprocity, and the continuation of work that has touched many lives. I’ve offered this medicine in love and service, often without expecting anything in return. Now, I’m opening myself up to receive.

I have realized that if I believe in the medicine and the work, then I also have to believe in the people who’ve witnessed its impact and are the community we’re all a part of.

This felt like the most honest and fair way to reach out—transparent, heartfelt, and aligned with how I try to live and serve.

So, If you’ve sat with me in ceremony
If you’ve felt the clearing, the courage, the rebirth Kambo brings
If you believe in what I do in sharing this medicine
If you support protecting sacred medicines and traditions from being diluted or taken
I would be so grateful for your support—any amount helps and time is of the essence.
