We are Chelsey and Kelsey, Emily’s big sisters. Emily just had brain surgery to remove a tumor that was found after she was hospitalized due to a seizure. We are making this GoFundMe to help raise money for our strong little sister while she is out of work and going through this process. She has a long road ahead of her but an amazing support team and any donation will be greatly appreciated. We love you, Emily!

Now, here is her story:

As many of you know, it’s been a year for us after our son being born, getting viral meningitis at 2 weeks leading to high fevers causing seizures and a stroke, leaving us with 2 months in the hospital with him. Which right before discharge, my husband started having low back pain so his aunt took him to ER where he ended up in ICU for 2 weeks for blood clots up both legs, following surgery and lots of appointments both my boy recently got home. I was working part-time and we only had Jace's therapy twice a week. Little did we know that during all these things with the boys, “Toby the tumor” in my brain has been growing which caused a seizure Tuesday night for Dawson to call 911 and me end up here at Moffitt Cancer Center with it being removed. There are still many questions, tests, and answers but we do know the tumor is all gone and minus some hair, I’m all here so I just wanted to thank God and you all for love and prayers.
