Support Emily's Healing After Tragic Loss

My name is Rose, a devoted yoga teacher and friend to many.

My dear friend Emily, the little sister I always wanted, gave birth to a beautiful little girl named Kora Belle on March 29th, 2024. Emily and her family provided a loving, supportive, and nurturing environment for their sweet baby to grow. Emily fell in love with her new purpose... a mother. I saw the shift in her smile, the way she spoke, the way she held her precious baby girl.

Then the event happened. On Wednesday, August 14, 2024, Emily woke up and found her baby girl unresponsive. After the best efforts from medical staff, the announcement arrived. Kora Belle had passed away in her sleep.

Kora had taken Emily’s heart with her. The emptiness and great sadness washed away every bit of joy created. She is living every parent’s worst nightmare. It isn’t fair, it doesn’t make sense, and I only pray Emily and her family will one day find peace.

Money will not heal Emily. Nor will it make her happy. Yet, it will be one less thing for her to worry about. She will not be returning to work until she is emotionally capable. This may be a while, so I am asking for donations to help Emily stay afloat during this unfathomable and tragic time. There was mention of a grief retreat, and funds could go towards the healing process.
