Help Save Animals Abandoned in the 2025 California Wildfires
I am Robert P. O'Malley, and I’m from Pennsylvania. I have friends and relatives that suffered the wildfires; some had to abandon their pets. That’s what motivated this fundraiser.

Every fund raised will be used to purchase relief items needed to get the pets and put them in a safe place.
The devastating wildfires of 2025 in California have left not only communities in turmoil but have also caused unimaginable suffering for countless animals. Wildfires displace thousands of pets, livestock, and wildlife every year, and this year’s fires are among the most catastrophic yet. As homes are consumed by flames, many animals are left behind, either because their owners were forced to evacuate quickly or because rescue efforts couldn’t reach them in time.

These animals now face dire circumstances:
• Loss of Habitat and Shelter: With vast stretches of land destroyed, animals are left with nowhere to seek refuge or protection from the elements.
• Starvation and Dehydration: Fires destroy food sources and contaminate water supplies, leaving animals hungry and thirsty.
• Injuries and Trauma: Many animals suffer burns, smoke inhalation, and other injuries, requiring urgent medical attention and care.
• Separation from Owners: Beloved pets are often separated from their families in the chaos of evacuation, and they need safe shelters until they can be reunited.

Donating to rescue organizations and shelters is a direct way to make a difference. Here’s why your contribution matters:
1. Emergency Rescues: Your support allows trained teams to reach animals trapped in fire zones, often risking their own safety to save lives.
2. Veterinary Care: Injured animals need immediate treatment, which can only happen with adequate funding for medical supplies, equipment, and skilled professionals.
3. Temporary Housing and Food: Rescued animals require safe shelters where they can recover and await reunification or adoption, along with nourishing food and clean water.
4. Wildlife Rehabilitation: Native species displaced or injured in the fires need specialized care to recover and return to their natural habitats.
5. Reuniting Families: Your donations help support systems that work tirelessly to reunite pets with their owners, providing hope amid the chaos.

By donating, you’re not just offering financial aid—you’re giving these animals a second chance at life. Whether it’s a frightened dog pulled from the ashes, an injured bird brought back to health, or a displaced family’s pet reunited with their children, every dollar you give brings hope and healing.

We can’t undo the damage caused by these wildfires, but together, we can ensure that animals affected by this tragedy are not forgotten. Please consider donating today to give them the care and compassion they desperately need.

Every life matters. Let’s stand together for those who cannot speak for themselves.
