We are coming together to support Eliza Talbot and her son, who were affected by the recent heavy rainstorm and flood. Due to flooding, Eliza was displaced from her home and has been navigating temporary housing—staying in hotels and with friends—while working to secure a new place for herself and her son. As many in our community know, this kind of sudden disruption brings not only emotional stress but can also cause unexpected financial strain.

This fundraiser will help cover immediate needs during this transition including: housing, meals and daily necessities, basic household supplies, and moving expenses. Eliza has shown up as a thoughtful leader and advocate—showing up for her colleagues, and communities across Hawaiʻi. This is an opportunity for us to show up for her and her ʻohana during a difficult moment. Any contribution, no matter the size, can make a real difference—helping provide stability, security, and hope as Eliza and her son navigate this unexpected transition and work toward a new place to call home.
