Hello! My name is Avery and I am a long-time family friend of the Koenigs. Well, actually I’m more like their adopted daughter. Eli is literally my brother from another mother. For those of you who don’t know Eli, he is only 26 and one of the kindest souls I know. Unfortunately, Elijah Koenig has been recently diagnosed with a walnut-sized brain tumor. We are unsure if it is benign or malignant, but the MRI reading suggested malignancy. He is scheduled to get his tumor, Fred (as Eli has named it), removed on Monday 8/18/25. As one can imagine, brain surgery is NOT cheap. Not only the surgery, but the hospitalization and rehabilitation afterwards.
