<div>Hello! My name is Avery and I am a long-time family friend of the Koenigs. Well, actually I’m more like their adopted daughter. Eli is literally my brother from another mother. For those of you who don’t know Eli, he is only 26 and one of the kindest souls I know. Unfortunately, <strong>Elijah Koenig has been recently diagnosed with a walnut-sized brain tumor</strong>. We are unsure if it is benign or malignant, but the MRI reading suggested malignancy. <strong>He is scheduled to get his tumor, Fred (as Eli has named it), removed on Monday 8/18/25</strong>. As one can imagine, brain surgery is NOT cheap. Not only the surgery, but the hospitalization and rehabilitation afterwards. Support Eli's Fight Against Fred the Tumor

<div>This is my beautiful niece Grace. She holds a deep silent debilitating condition she has been battling most of her life. Never one to let it phase her, she has been an ice skater, a beautiful poised ballerina, and was even an awesome cheerleader for her high school. Recently all of those things have come to a halt. Her silent battle with scoliosis finally was undeniable. This beautiful young lady now is facing extremely invasive surgical intervention. My sister and brother in law have been self employed and struggle with the hopscotch game of medical insurance. Paying premiums for care they rely on to be there when they need it. In typical industry fashion, her surgical procedure has been denied. The hospital and other costs will be covered. But the surgeon is not. They will only cover up to the Medicare allowable for a different, less successful procedure.  The denied surgical fees are $70,000.  So as they prepare to leave for New Jersey next week for this surgery, we are asking for prayers and any financial assistance you may be able to provide. They will be there for about a week, recovery considered.

<div>Katt: She’s having anterior scoliosis correction. They enter from the side rather than cutting through all the muscles through the back. They will deflate the lung, cut ribs, and place screws along the thoracic region where her curve is. They then place a tether system rather than fusing the bones together like a traditional surgery which allows for better flexibility. He will also cut the discs between the vertebrae which will help to correct the rotation of her spine.

<div>She’s at a 91 and we are hoping to get her down to 30.

<div>Rehab starts immediately. We will continue to increase stamina, balance and special awareness along with pain management.

<div>Healing is much less than the typical spinal fusion. We hope she is back up and going 6-8 weeks. Not having to cut through all of the muscles is helpful with the healing.

<div>No Drs do this in Texas that’s why we have to travel to New Jersey. Which has made the logistics and healing process difficult.

Christie has been the sole supporter of their household while also taking care of Ray and trying to make ends meet.

Help Christie lay Ray to rest

Chris Schuchman suffered an aortic dissection with an aortic tear down in his entire aorta.  He's had 3 surgeries and is currently on dialysis. During his time at the hospital he was on a ventilator and was intubated.  He is currently in ICU but the doctors are hopeful that he will be off to postop in a few days to help with rehab. <br /><br />Chris was experiencing chest pains and had a seizure while in the car with a friend.  He was taken to Baylor Grapevine but after approximately an hour was taken by care flight to Dallas.  As you can imagine the medical bills are going to add up.  If you can help in anyway, I know the family would be very appreciative. <br /><br />Chris has a wife, Robin and 4 kids at home.

God Saw You Getting Tired<br /><br />                God saw you getting tired, <br />                when a cure was not to be. <br />                So, He wrapped His arms around <br />                you and He whispered "Come to me."<br />                You didn't deserve what you went through,<br />                 so He gave you needed rest. <br />                God's garden must be beautiful,<br />                 HE ONLY TAKES THE BEST.<br /><br />                                               Frances &amp; Kathleen Coelho<br /><br />For those blessed to know him, Robert "Bo" Greenwell was a treasure that many believe was set on this Earth specifically to bring joy and perfect harmony to the love of his life, Kim. Who would have ever thought that this man would leave so soon, let alone so swiftly? But his zest for life leave many of us with great peace in knowing his suffering, while extensive and brutal, was extremely short and his chariot through the pearly gates was swift, just as we are certain was his one request to the Lord if he was to be leaving this Earth. <br /><br />His struggles were placed at his feet swiftly and with immediate confirmation; November 10th, Cancer. On November 23rd his battle had begun in full force. To the ER for Pulmonary Embolism in both lungs. The scans all indicated not only the worst possible news, but in multiple areas of his body. The jaw, the neck, the lungs, the liver, the pancrease and the spine had evidence of this disease. This cancer was no longer silent. It was screaming. The conversations between Kim and Bo were open and honest. Bo was a "Guy Guy" and not one to mince words or his beliefs. Except when it came to Kim. The one woman in his life he never wanted to disappoint. So he agreed to fight. <br /><br />The first chemo treatment was supposed to begin on 12/6. One 12/5 while being educated on the in's and out's of chemo, it was found he had pneumonia. Delay #1 and second trip to stay in the hospital for 2 nights. The following week he was able to receive his initial treatment in this "chemo dance". This dance we refer to was one of great pain, disappointments, fearful realities and battles of balance to keep treatments on course and the body in shape to continue this fight he promised. Multiple trips to the ER for relief of the fluid that was rapidly accumulating in his body, breathing treatments, low blood pressure readings and more, than we are able to mention. All in the heroic efforts to restore the fragile balance to keep Bo in the fight. His days at home were less than those spent in the ER or hospital. The days began to be jumbled as you can imagine. <br /><br />On December 17th much changed in his story of beating this monster called cancer. Bo was at home with Kim and she noticed his speach became very jumbled and she was not able to make sense of his words. Kim knowing much due to her extensive career in the medical field, feared the worst. A trip to the ER confirmed Bo had suffered a stroke, TIA. His once muscular, outdoor rugged physique was quickly wasting away, because of the pain in jaw and difficulty in swallowing, he was unable to enjoy meals like before. In the span of just a couple weeks Bo's battle was evident just in his appearance. But his fight continued for his bride of 8 short years. <br /><br />The Holidays passed week after week. While the world celebrated, Kim and Bo navigated to and from the hospital for multiple ER visits, missing what we now painfully know to have been his last Christmas and New Years this side of Heaven. Spending Christmas and New Years in the ER are now a part of their memory. The chemo dance continued as the doctor's explained that due to insurance limitations, if he was in the hospital on the date of his next scheduled chemo treatment, he would be denied his valuable thread of hope. Delay #2 The doctors worked feverishly to get the ascites on his belly to deminish. Drugs, belly taps, limited intake. His liver was just not able to keep up and filter. Prayer warriors on overtime, January 2nd Bo was able to receive chemo #2. Followed the very next day with a trip to the ER and soon after, admission into ICU. His breathing was labored and his stats were low across the board. His BP was dangerously low and the pressure from the liquid on his belly was painful and causing the heart to suffer and the lungs to expand.<br /> <br />On Thursday, January 4th the decision was made to intubate Bo to relieve the body of the distress it was going through in this fight and treat him for the complications as they arise. Delay #3- the greatest of delays. Early morning of January 7th, Bo entered the the House of the Lord. <br /><br />His time here with us was short, but the joys and things he was able to accomplish in his short 48 years here blessed so many. Just in true Bo fashion, he went hard on the playing field and left nothing to wonder about. His quality was immesasurable and his dedication to those he loved a top priority. <br /><br />Bo leaves behind his beautiful wife, Kim with things he would never have wished to leave her. The bills that accumulated are overwhelming. One of the saving graces in this painful process is, Bo's untimely death was with what seems to be lightening speed. In less than 60 days Bo was gone. What could have been a fight that built unmanagable debt, in the end, I believe Bo and God made a deal. If you can't make me healed here on Earth to stay with the woman of my dreams, take me to live eternally and I will then wait for her to join me in Heaven, a promise Bo accepted to be a fair exchange. <br /><br />We ask that you prayerfully consider an amount that will serve to bless Kim in Bo's memory to help alleviate the financial burden that has been left them. Her heart may be broken, and in true Kim fashion, she will weather this storm better than most, but any amount you choose to give will help her move past the monetary and get busy with the soulful navigation of her life on earth as she finishes this story of love, laughter and great strength. <br />Kim couragiously is left to raise her son Dawson and daughter Sable. She is surrounded by amazing family and friends to whom she is continually greatful to, for their support during this time. But as we all know, time passes and we all go back to our own struggles and life. Please continue to pray for this family as they clear the waters and adjust to their new normal without a man that set the bar high in enjoying life to it's fullest!

Sara Bumpass blessed so many by her selfless generosity.  If you know Sara, you have found random encouraging notes, fresh baked goods, or even found yourself blessed by an act of kindness.  She always had her eye on a way to bless others, not for her glory, but in the unique way that she was created to point others back to The Great Provider.  <br /><br />Her unexpected passing has given us all an opportunity to return those blessings.  Please consider giving to this {gofundme} to allow her family the ability to cover the costs associated with such an untimely passing without the worry or burden of the financial impact.  <br /><br />The celebration of the life of our precious Sara will be on Tuesday, August 8th at 11:00 a.m. at the NRH campus of Gateway Church.  Join us in honoring her.

On December 27, 2001, a beautiful girl named Fayth Norman entered the world. She lit up the lives of everyone she met. Her smile was contagious and her love for life was inspiring. On Saturday, February 11, 2017, that light left our world. Fayth's life was taken by her grandmother in a shocking murder/suicide. <br /><br />We do not have many details right now, but we do believe that Fayth is resting easy in the arms of her Savior. Fayth's loved ones are devastated and we covet your thoughts and prayers. Because of the unexpected nature of this tragedy, her family was unprepared to pay for the cost of her funeral and burial. We would greatly appreciate any assistance that you can provide towards these costs. May God bless you.<br /><br />Fayth is survived by her mother Candice Norman, her mother's fiance Bill Guzman, and her sisters Kaitlynn, Krislynn, Aviana, and Brooklynn. She also leaves behind her father Buck Jenkins, her step mother Vanessa Jenkins, and her sister Haley. Other remaining family members include her Aunt Melissa Norman, her cousins Bella and Travis,  and many extended family members including the Normans, the Jenkins, the Schurings, the Jordans, the Livingstons, the Guzmans, the Ovcharovs, the Barnes, and countless friends and church members.
