Dear Family, Friends, and Community,

It is with the heaviest of hearts that we share the devastating news of the passing of our beloved son, Elijah KayGee Grijalva Hernandez. His life was tragically cut short on September 20, 2024, at the young age of 18. Elijah was a kind soul who always put others before himself, even in his final days.

As parents, we never imagined we would be facing such a heartbreaking journey. We find ourselves in a position we never expected to be in—asking for help. Due to the emotional toll and the time we’ve spent away from work, one of us may have already lost our job, and we are struggling to cover the costs associated with Elijah’s funeral, medical bills, and our personal expenses during this time.
