Support Elders' Journey to Sacred Sundance Ceremony

Hello Friends,

Earth Circle is sponsoring a fundraising campaign to support our Elders to go to the sacred Ceremony of Sundance in Pipestone, Minnesota. Pipestone, Minnesota is immensely sacred to the Native Americans as this area where the red pipestone is quarried for the Holy Canupa or Sacred Pipe .

She has danced for 55 years and has also stood for human rights for many and this Earth. She did not look for money, she looked for justice in a system designed to oppress. He is a musician, teacher and gentle strong support for her and their grandchildren.

The Elders' car is in need of repair, more than we originally thought, to make the journey to Pipestone, MN, a distance of just over 1500 miles. There will also be gas, hotel, food and other expenses for this highest Ceremony. Any extra funds will be donated to continue the Ceremony. The Sundance Ceremony, one of the highest Ceremony there is in the Sioux (Lakota, Dakota and Nakota ) culture was outlawed in the US until 1978 by the US Government. Prayers are brought, and the sundancers make a great sacrifice for the wellbeing of the People and All Life. Thank you for your support.
