I’m a registered nurse for 20 years and I own an adult foster home. I see everyday the needs in elders without any fundings. They have to find help with activity of Daily living. Without financial support they get lost in the system, forgotten, and passed away. I’m trying my best to lower my rate, but I’m having a hard time keeping things afloat. I would like to help more and save them money. But alone I cannot. I need support from everyone. We will all get there eventually and we will need the financial support to be in facility or home with dedicated caregivers.
