Hello, my name is Leilani Pascasio and I am starting a gofundme for the residents and staff of El Molino Manor. My parents opened Manor in 2015. El Molino Manor provided 24 hour care, supervision, and support to adults with mental illnesses and developmental disabilities. On January 8, 2025 the Eaton Canyon fire destroyed the place that 36 residents called their home.
My family and I mourn the loss of the home we created for so many. We will continue to serve and support our individuals, and hope that any donations made today can go directly to the residents who lost everything in the fire. This relief will support them in replacing some of their personal belongings.
Additionally, your donations will help the staff of El Molino Manor. Many of the staff are Altadena natives, whose lives have been impacted due to the fires. Even in the face of such challenges, the staff willingly and relentlessly continued to work to ensure the safety and security of the residents. Your donations will provide direct relief to the staff employed at El Molino Manor.
An update: all residents are safe and have been relocated to temporary housing. We continue to remain in contact with the residents to ensure their overall well-being. Some staff had to temporarily evacuate from their homes, with a few losing their homes in the fire.
In time, we will move forward and continue to make Altadena a place we are proud to call home once again.
With gratitude and determination,
The Pascasio family.
Proud Neighbors and Residents of Altadena
