Support El Chuco Habla's Struggle Against Fascism

El Chuco Habla

We are a group in the El Paso region which has gathered to fight against the advance of fascism under the administration of Donald Trump.

We fear that:

1. The democratic freedoms we are used to will be declared against the law.

2. Citizens of the United States will be subjected to deportation.

3. Civic organizations that disagree with the government will be stripped of their right to exist.

4. The independent press will be sanctioned and subject to government censorship.

5. Those born in the United States will no longer have birth right citizenship.

6. Public education at all levels will continue to lose funding and federal support.

7. Attacks on diversity, inclusion, and equity will undo the advances brought by the heroic struggles of the Civil Rights Movement.

8. Individual health and reproductive freedom will be abolished.

9. Under the Trump Administration, the U.S. will continue to support the Israeli regime in its genocide against the Palestinian people.

10. Climate change is a reality with economic and health implications for all.

We demand:

No cuts to education! Prevent abolishing the Department of Education!

Defend the rights of women to reproductive freedom!

Protect freedom of speech and the right to assemble!

Solidarity with the working class! No deportations!

No taxpayer money for bombs and bullets to kill Palestinian children.
