Hello, my name is Kelly Miles and I am creating this page to help my 90 year old grandma, Eileen Jamieson. On top of dealing with health struggles for the last 9 months, this past Tuesday March 31st a large tree fell during the storm on my grandma's house which caused significant damage. Fortunately, unfortunately, my grandma was admitted into the hospital that prior Sunday so she was not home when it happened. However, this is an added stress to an already very stressful time for our family.

As a family we have chosen for my grandma not to enter a care facility, this means that her home is her primary place of care and residence. Which is why it is so important that we work to get her home back to the space she made it. Due to the work that needs to be done, my grandma will not be able to return to her home for at least 3 - 6 months.

My grandma has been in that home since 1979. She raised her children there, cared for her grandchildren, and made it a space where all feel welcomed. Those of you that know our family know that my grandma has always put her family first. She was always front row at my siblings' and I's school and sporting events with our picture pins proudly over her heart. She never turned us down for a sleep over growing up and always made sure she had our favorite treats. My grandma repeatedly shows what unconditional love and support is, even now when she is struggling herself. She is someone that will always try to make you smile through the hardest times.
