Support Eileen's journey to have a baby
Donation protected
I am Eileen's sister, Stacey, and I am so thrilled to share that she is finally getting a baby after a 14-year journey through many ups and downs.
Eileen was born with Turner Syndrome, which makes it impossible for her to have her own child. This was a very painful realization for Eileen, as she is incredible with children and always dreamed of having a big family.
Eileen lost her husband almost 6 years ago after adopting 2 amazing kiddos only a year before. Eileen and her husband were on a list to adopt a baby for many years. David and Jocelyn came into their lives when they were 8 and 5, and Eileen and Jared put a hold on their baby journey to focus on creating a loving home and family with David and Jocelyn. Eileen and Jared were just beginning to continue their journey for a baby when Jared suddenly passed away. Eileen, David, and Jocelyn have been focusing on healing and moving forward since that loss, and together as a family, they are now in the process of surrogacy with a baby boy! Baby Boy Collett is due at the end of June with the help of a surrogate and a donated embryo.
The cost of IVF and Surrogacy is incredibly expensive. My mother has generously taken money from her retirement to help ease the burden on Eileen. Any help for my mom and Eileen would be greatly appreciated! Anyone who knows Eileen knows what a wonderful, caring, generous person she is. She is truly one of a kind. When you are in her presence, she brings an ease to the room. Eileen is a special education teacher, and all of her students are so lucky to have her as a teacher! Anything we can do to help Eileen to realize a lifelong dream is very much appreciated!
