Support education in Zanzibar through CR Hope Foundation
Donation protected
Hello! In June, three of us (Abbey, George and Katherine) will be travelling to Zanzibar, Tanzania, to volunteer at the Seeds of Light school in Kizimkazi for a month. Founded by the CR Hope Foundation, this charity, non for profit organisation aims to provide quality education to the children of Zanzibar and thus fight the poverty of the region that leads to approximately 140 000 children between the ages of 4 and 15 being out of school. They aim to 'inspire children to strengthen their local communities through quality education and lifelong learning' and we are so excited to help out!
During this time we will take part in teaching the students, playing with them, helping build/repair parts of the school and providing them with meals and other resources such as basic pencils, pens, toothbrushes and other staple items; that unfortunately many of the families do not have access to. In order to make as much of a difference that we can while we are over there, we would greatly appreciate any donation (big or small) that we can then work with CR Hope Foundation to distribute to the school. This could be in the form of teacher salaries, learning resources, nutritious meals or child sponsoring; depending on what is in the greatest demand during our visit.
We are so excited and passionate to make as much of a difference to the lives of these families as we can in the time we are there :))
Any contribution would be greatly appreciated and would help us and the foundation a lot, thank you so so much!
