Many children in remote areas of Indonesia still face limited access to educational resources, learning facilities, and opportunities to pursue their dreams. While education has the power to transform lives, not every child has the support they need to reach their full potential.
Through IUAB (Ilmu untuk Anak Bangsa), an initiative by PPIA Victoria, we aim to bridge this gap by bringing educational support, inspiration, and resources to communities that need them the most.
IUAB in Melbourne
IUAB in Melbourne focuses on engaging Indonesian children who are growing up abroad. Through cultural workshops, educational activities, and friendly competitions, we aim to help young Indonesians stay connected to their heritage while strengthening their learning skills and confidence.
By creating a fun and educational environment, we hope to inspire children to embrace their identity, appreciate Indonesian culture, and develop a love for learning that will support their future growth.
IUAB in Sumatra
At the same time, IUAB extends its mission to communities in remote areas of Indonesia, where access to educational resources is often limited.
Through this program, we aim to provide direct educational support by:
- Donating essential school supplies to students in need
- Improving school facilities to create a better learning environment
- Organizing seminars and sharing sessions about higher education and career opportunities
- Encouraging students to dream bigger and pursue their goals through education
Beyond supporting schools, IUAB will also reach out to elderly homes in these communities, providing donations and assistance to ensure that the older generation is not forgotten and continues to feel valued and supported.
Considering Indonesia’s geographical location within the Pacific Ring of Fire, many communities are highly vulnerable to natural disasters. Through IUAB, we will also introduce basic disaster awareness and mitigation education to help children and communities better understand how to respond and stay safe during emergencies.
