Hi friends! Spring will be here before we know -- at least we can hope! -- and I'm hoping you will join me in spirit as I get ready for my second Great Saunter, a 32-mile hike around Manhattan, on May 2. Once again I am going to use this feat of physical endurance and poor judgement to raise funds for RAICES Texas, a splendid nonprofit that provides legal support and social services for immigrants and refugees -- a group my niece Glenaan has been involved with for many years. Last year we raised over $3,300 and I'm hoping we can do that again or better. I'll be matching all donations. Many thanks!
