My name is Muna Ali, the current Miss Minnesota USA. I recently had the powerful opportunity to return to Haiti—a place that holds a special place in my heart. While there, I reconnected with an incredible group of students I’ve been supporting—bright, resilient young minds involved in a robotics team and a new science/ mathematics program.
These are not just students in a classroom—they are determined, hopeful individuals who are actively shaping their future despite unimaginable challenges. Their dedication, hunger to learn, and unwavering belief in something greater deeply moved me. They reminded me that education is the path to opportunity, empowerment, and long-term success—and every child deserves access to it.
Haiti, like many developing nations, faces immense challenges, and it’s so important for us to look beyond ourselves and uplift others. My mission has always been about creating meaningful impact, which is why I’m also working with an orphanage in Somalia to provide essentials like food, clothing, and education for children in need. As the first Somali woman to hold this title, I carry the honor and responsibility of representing my community with pride.
Our goal is to raise $50,000 to support both of these incredible initiatives. By donating, you’re not just giving funds—you’re investing in the futures of bright, ambitious young minds and helping create lasting change.
Thank you for your support and generosity.
