I'm raising funds for my friend Eduardo, who has been a friend of almost 15 years and has been instrumental to my career, as he makes a major life and career transition. After many years working in tech, Eduardo knows he wants to help people in a different way. He hopes to return to school for a master's in mindfulness-based transpersonal counseling and move back to California, the place where he feels happiest.

Right now, this transition is happening at a difficult time. Eduardo was recently laid off from the job that brought him to Colorado. He is excited for the future and clear about the direction he wants to take, but getting from where he is now to that next chapter has been hard.

Donations will help support Eduardo's move back to California and cover school-related expenses, including hopefully the first semester of his master's program. His goal is to be permanently back in San Diego by the end of the year so he can begin building a life that feels more aligned with who he is and the work he wants to do.
