On Friday, we lost a loving husband, father, grandfather, and kind soul, Edson Herrera. He passed away due to health complications, leaving behind a family that loved him deeply and is now navigating the pain of this loss.

My father was a quiet man, but his love was powerful. Even when he did not always express it outwardly, those who knew him could feel it. He had a huge heart, was incredibly kind, and showed generosity in the way he cared for his family. He was the type of person who would put others before himself, even when he was hurting.

He leaves behind a family who is proud to honor his life and legacy. As a husband, he stood by his family; as a father, he gave what he could with love; and as a grandfather, he was a gentle presence full of warmth.

As a family, we are now doing our best to honor him with a proper funeral service that reflects the love, dignity, and respect he deserves.
