If you knew Ed Terebus, you were lucky. He was the kind of person who made you feel seen, valued, and loved the moment you met him. He was incredible in every way and truly one of a kind.
On June 7th, 2025, our world lost Ed far too soon. The space he leaves behind is enormous. Not just in his home, but in his neighborhood, in the city of Pontiac, in the haunted attraction community, and in the countless lives he impacted over the years.
Ed was endlessly generous. He was the person you called when you needed anything, and he would drop everything to help. He gave second, third, and even fourth chances. He taught, mentored, encouraged, and believed in people. He shared his wisdom freely, made everyone feel welcome, and constantly poured himself out for others.
He was also a storyteller through and through, full of jokes, ideas, and dreams. When he had something on his mind, he found a way to make it happen. But no matter how busy he was, he always made time for people. His creativity was matched only by his capacity to care.
Above all, Ed was a devoted husband and the most incredible father to his children, Ziggy and Victoria. His love for them was fierce and constant, and being their dad was his greatest joy.
As we begin to process this loss, we are becoming more aware of just how many roles Ed filled. His absence is deeply felt. Life feels emptier without him. But the stories we’ve heard from near and far have reminded us of the incredible reach of his kindness, his belief in others, and the legacy he left behind.
To honor that legacy, we have created this GoFundMe as an education fund for Ziggy and Tori. It is one small way we can give back to a man who gave everything to others. This is a chance to help support the future he would have worked so hard to build for his children.
If you are able, we would be so grateful for your support. No amount is too small. Whether you give $5 or $500, you are helping invest in two amazing kids who meant the world to Ed.
❤️ Please share this page with others who knew and loved Ed. The more people who see it, the more impact we can have.
Thank you for standing with us, for remembering Ed, and for helping carry his legacy forward in love.
With heartfelt gratitude,
