Help Eddie Chavez Continue His Rehab Care

Our dad, Eddie Chavez, recently underwent surgery for severe spinal canal stenosis from C3–C7. His recovery has been slow, and he’s working hard every day to regain his strength and mobility.

Doctors have recommended that Eddie stay in the rehab facility for an additional 14 days to give him more time to build strength and make progress in his recovery. The first day of this additional stay begins today.

Unfortunately, his insurance will not cover any more extra days, so we need to raise $3,000 to allow him to remain in rehab for the full two weeks. Adding to the challenge, Eddie’s wife, Margo, is a federal employee, and her paychecks have been temporarily stopped due to the government shutdown.

We’re asking for any help you can give, big or small, to help Eddie stay in the care he needs for a little longer. This extra time will make a huge difference in his recovery and overall strength.
