Helping Edah Heal

Earlier this year, after a hysterectomy, Edah faced serious complications that led to a fistula and a diverticulitis flare-up, landing her in the hospital. Despite trying to manage and postpone further treatment, her condition has since worsened, and surgery is now required to help her heal.

During this time, Edah discovered that her job does not provide disability benefits, leaving her without income throughout recovery. With bills and living expenses still coming in—and two teenage sons to support—this has placed a heavy burden as she focuses on getting well. Her next check-up is scheduled for October 31st, when her doctor will determine when she can safely return to work.
