Echter’s Annual Christmas Tree Giveaway: Share the Holiday Spirit

For 65 years, Echter’s Nursery & Garden Center has been a cherished cornerstone of the Arvada community. As a family-owned business, we’ve been dedicated to helping families create beauty in their homes and gardens while fostering a spirit of connection and belonging. Recognized as Arvada’s 2023 Business of the Year, we take pride in not only cultivating thriving gardens but also nurturing stronger, more vibrant communities through our commitment to service and philanthropy.

This holiday season, we are reaching out for your support for one of our most meaningful events: our Annual Christmas Tree Giveaway.

Spreading Holiday Cheer

What started in 2018 as a way to prevent surplus Christmas trees from going to waste has grown into a beloved community tradition. That first year, we gave 60 trees to families in need. Since then, we’ve distributed over 475 Christmas trees and 400 gift bags filled with ornaments, lights, decorations, and tree stands. In 2022, we expanded our efforts by partnering with the Arvada Fire Department to include toys for children, spreading even more joy to local families.

How You Can Help

This year, the need is greater than ever, and we’re counting on your generosity to make it happen. Here’s how you can support:

Donate Supplies: We’re accepting donations of lights, ornaments, decorations, tree stands, and new, unused toys. Drop off your contributions at Echter’s Nursery & Garden Center (5150 Garrison St., Arvada) during store hours.

Contribute Funds: Monetary donations through this GoFundMe will help us purchase additional decorations, toys, and supplies to ensure no family is left out. Every dollar makes a difference!

Dates & Times:

Sunday, December 22nd: 10 AM – 5 PM

Monday, December 23rd: 10 AM – 6 PM

Tuesday, December 24th: 10 AM – 2 PM

On December 24th, Santa, Mrs. Claus, and the Arvada Fire Department will join us with their holiday sleigh and classic fire truck, adding extra magic to the festivities.

Trees, gift bags, and toys will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis.
