Please help us keep our home. My name is Ebony Owens Patterson. I'm a disabled mother of 4, 3 of whom are special needs. We moved into what is supposed to be our forever home 2 years ago. It was purchased for my children to grow up in under the realization that some of them may not be able to live independently as adults and to have the space for them to do so while still at home under my care.

I've recently been placed out of work due to my own disability and have an extremely limited income while I await state disability. At this time, we are fighting foreclosure on our home. We have exhausted all assistance from local organizations. We were able to catch up a month but are on the last leg and the mortgage company is giving us until the end of August to be fully caught up. If not, we will lose not only our home but our land as well.

Anything at all would be helpful to us and would be greatly appreciated.

As it is difficult to reach out for help because of a great sense of pride, I feel obligated to do so for the sake of my children and their future. This is their safe space. They enjoy being outdoors to play on their playset, in their pool, and most of all, in the dirt and mud.
