Supporting the Small Businesses Impacted by the Downtown Easton Fire
Downtown Easton recently experienced a devastating fire that affected several beloved small businesses that are vital to the heart of our community.
The businesses impacted include:
1. State Cafe and Grill
2. MHK Family Market
3. Precision Cuts Barber Shop 2
4. Jois Gift Market
5. Love You More Foundation
6. Easton Nutrition (pre-opening business)
These businesses are more than storefronts. They are family-owned operations, job providers, gathering spaces, and cornerstones of our downtown economy.
Small businesses are the backbone of any thriving downtown. When one is impacted, the ripple effect touches employees, families, neighboring businesses, and the entire community.
The Easton Business Association, Easton Chamber of Commerce, GEDP (Greater Easton Development Partnership)
and Easton Main Street Initiative, and many downtown businesses are organizing a community-wide fundraiser to provide direct financial assistance to these affected businesses so they can:
Cover immediate recovery costs
Support displaced employees
Rebuild inventory and equipment
Reopen their doors as quickly as possible
Our goal is simple:
Help these businesses rebuild, recover, and return stronger than ever.
We are calling on:
Community members
Local businesses
Corporate sponsors
Philanthropic partners
City leadership
To stand together and support the businesses that help make Downtown Easton what it is.
When we support local businesses, we protect jobs, preserve culture, and strengthen our entire city.
Together, we can help Downtown Easton rebuild.
