**UPDATE: SPRING SHOWCASE FUNDRAISER TICKETS ARE SOLD OUT!! You are welcome to continue donating, but we have maxed out space for our showcase**
TLDR: Help us purchase new rigging gear, apparatuses, and safety equipment for pole, lyra, and silks classes in the Eastern Sierra!
Dear Eastern Sierra Aerial Folks:
In the months since our aerial studio closed, a few local aerialists have banded together and invested our time, money, and energy into creating open climbs, classes, and meet-ups to bring our aerial community back together!
We LOVE doing this and want to continue growing our capacity to share the aerial arts: we need your help!
Purchasing aerial gear and rigging is expensive, so we have created this GoFundMe to enlist the help of our local aerial community to aid us in covering the costs. These purchases will allow us to expand our class capacity, offer more time on the apparatus, and a safer experience overall.
SO, if you love taking aerial (or simply supporting a local cause) please consider pitching in to help us continue growing our aerial community here in the Eastern Sierra.
We appreciate you!
Lo, Hannah, BK
Below are the specific gear needs per teacher. If you want to donate to a particular teacher's gear needs you can leave a comment with your donation!
Donate to Lo + Lyra!
Lo has taken on a huge initiative to bring Lyra back to the Eastern Sierra! Her classes have been a hit for new and experienced aerialists alike.
She organized our meet-up spreadsheet, partnered with teaching spaces like Sierra Shanti, and teaches classes. Lo has also invested her personal funds by purchasing rigging courses, hoops, rigging equipment, traveling to gain skills, and more.
Donate to Hannah + Silks!
Hannah G has invested in teaching the hardest discipline of all: aerial silks! Not only is silks energetically and physically difficult it is also extremely technical to teach.
Hannah has offered her home space, aerial rig, and wonderful teaching skills to bring silks back to the community. She’s even invested in creating a space for kids to learn and grow their aerial practice.
Donate to BK + Pole!
BK’s pole space is scrappy but mighty! In addition to investing in trips to Vegas to learn pole technique, she has also invested her personal funds into pole and aerial equipment, insurance, and creating a space to train. Help BK purchase a freestanding pole, and circular mats to increase class capacity and safety!
