Hi,

My name is Eamon McHale and I am an eagle candidate from Troop 62 in Denver, and I am fundraising for my Eagle project.

My Eagle project will be located at the four 100 year old historical cabins on the US Air Force Academy property. My project will be focused on fire mitigation and prevention, and this will be done by clearing bushes and removing the branches from trees up to six feed off the ground to prevent small fires from becoming crown fires that would destroy the cabins and much of the base.

The second part of my project will be laying down weed barrier and a 5 feet perimeter of gravel around each of the cabins that will be two inches deep.

Scouts has been a part of my life since elementary school, and becoming an Eagle has always been my goal. I am looking forward to helping the preservation of these historical cabins that serve many people.
