Hi, I’m Dylan!
I’m 14 years old, and I just found out about an amazing opportunity to go on a humanitarian service trip with HXP (Humanitarian Experience). As soon as I heard about it, I knew I wanted to go. The trip is to West Virginia this July, and it combines everything I love—adventure, learning, and helping others.
If I get a spot, I’ll be serving the Appalachian community by working on home repair projects and building wheelchair ramps. The trip also includes some incredible experiences like hiking, zip-lining through the forest, whitewater rafting, and touring a coal mine to learn about the history and economy of the area. It sounds like the best kind of challenge—a mix of fun, hard work, and growth.
Right now, I haven’t been accepted yet. I’ll be buying into the waitlist for the July trip, and if I don’t get selected, the funds will be used to secure my place in the lottery for the 2026 trip when it opens this December. Either way, I’m all in.
If you’re able to support me—whether it’s $5 or $50—it would mean a lot. Thank you so much for helping me work toward something bigger than myself.
