Hi everyone this is my son Duwayne he's 6 years old he was born with a rare congenital heart condition called heterotaxy he will be having his first heart surgery on the 20th of January so I will be off work for a while. So I am raising money for his aftercare, medicine and any other expenses that might come up in the following months.

Here’s a little backstory on my son Duwayne. My son is a very smart boy that loves to conversate and learn new things. He also loves to play but due to his condition he has very limited physical activity. I’ve been doing my best to stay on top of things regarding his condition. I’ve found two cardiologist that see my son regularly one at U.I.C and the other at Luries Children. Since his condition is getting worse, they formulated a surgical plan. This plan involves open heart surgery and is extremely invasive with an extended recovery time and uncomfortable survival chances. The name of his procedure is the Fontan this will allow him to have more regular breathing and allow him to indulge in more physical activity unlike his current physical state.
