Support Duncan's Battle Against Lung Cancer

Hi friends, thanks for being here. A few weeks ago, my older brother, Duncan, went to the ER for severe back pain. He thought he'd injured himself at work (he has worked in landscaping for 30 years, which puts a lot of strain on his body).

Unfortunately, doctors found a mass in his lung pressing on his spine. Biopsies, scans, and appointments with specialists quickly followed.

Duncan has now been diagnosed with Stage 2B lung cancer. His oncologist believes he is too weak for surgery and instead recommends radiation and chemotherapy to try to ease his pain and improve his quality of life.

Here's where we need your help: Duncan isn't able to work, and his job does not offer disability insurance. His partner, Michael, is working diligently to access any government assistance available, but it takes time to work through those processes — and time is of the essence.

We would so appreciate any help you might offer. All donations will be used to support Duncan’s medical expenses during his treatment and help to pay for basic living expenses, like utility bills and groceries.

Our family is devastated. Duncan is one of the most conscientious, deeply loyal and loving people you will ever meet. It goes without saying that he is treasured by our family, his partner Michael (and their sweet dog, Lilly), Michael's family, and his many friends.

We understand that there are many worthy causes, and that finances are difficult for many of us (especially during this time of year!) — but any amount you can give will make a real, immediate difference for Duncan.
