Support Drafthouse Workers' Strike Fund

Drafthouse United, in protest of Alamo Drafthouse corporate leadership ignoring our request to improve working conditions, is staging a 1 day strike. This fund will help reimburse those who are participating recoup lost wages.

On April 17th, 2025, Drafthouse United sent a request to Alamo Drafthouse leadership for the following:

"... a 10% increase to base wages for all employees by June 8th, 2025 to be increased by 5% every year for each employee working at Alamo Drafthouse South Lamar on the anniversary of that date.

Additionally, please remove the limit on the amount of hours allowed to be scheduled weekly, for all departments, in perpetuity, immediately."

This proposal, like all other communication with management, was ignored. We have chosen to make our voices heard in light of this dismissive treatment. We encourage you to refund or swap your ticket for the day.
