Dr. Karin Fry, Professor of Philosophy at Georgia Southern University, is a world-renowned scholar and the leading authority on the political philosophy of Hannah Arendt. Her groundbreaking work has inspired students and colleagues around the world.

As Chair of the Department of Philosophy and Religious Studies, Dr. Fry led with vision, compassion, and dedication, helping the department grow and thrive. Beyond her academic achievements, she is a devoted wife and mother, deeply loved by her family and community.

Tragically, after an initial surgery, an aggressive form of cancer has returned. Dr. Fry is now receiving hospice care at home.
