Support Douglas Riley's Battle with Cancer

Hello, my name is Shelly and I have started this Gofundme to help financially support my dad, Douglas Riley and stepmom, Elizabeth Riley in a very difficult time. My dad was diagnosed with bladder cancer in 2023. In June 2024 the bladder cancer metastasized to his bones in his spine, skull, hips/pelvis, ribs and sternum. As of recently they believe it has now metastasized to his brain. This man has worked so hard all of his life to support his family including his wife, 3 daughters and stepson. He’s always been the most laid back and loving person and to see him going through the amount of pain he does on a daily basis is the hardest thing I’ve ever experienced. They live on a small farm and my stepmother runs a cake business from her home. Recently since my father has been set up with Hospice at home, financially they have been struggling to keep food in the house and pay their regular bills. My stepmom has had to significantly reduce the amount of orders she takes now to be able to be my dad’s caregiver and support system and it greatly affects their financial system. I just want to take some of the burden off of them so my dad can try to enjoy every moment from here on out. My family and I have done what we can but financially we are unable to help as often as we’d like because of struggling to care for our own little families as well.
