Hi Everyone, I'm Emily, and I've created this page with the hope of extending a helping hand to my brother and sister-in-law as they embark on the journey towards building the family they've always dreamed of.

They possess the love, dedication, and nurturing spirit that would make them exceptional parents. However, their path to parenthood is marked by the hurdles of infertility, necessitating the costly process of In Vitro Fertilization (IVF).

I believe that no one should have to face such challenges alone, especially when the barrier is financial. That's why we're reaching out to our community, friends, and loved ones to join us in supporting them through this endeavor. Together, we can alleviate the financial burden of IVF treatment and bring them closer to realizing their dream of becoming parents. ❤️

A Message From Doug and Megan:

Hello and blessings to all who read this!

We are Douglas and Megan Timmons, and we are reaching out to you with hopeful hearts. Our journey to parenthood has been filled with unexpected twists and turns, but through it all, we remain steadfast in our belief that miracles can happen.

Since the beginning of our marriage, we have dreamt of starting a family. Two years of countless fertility doctor's appointments, months of testing, and two unsuccessful IUIs (a less invasive fertility procedure) last spring left us feeling discouraged and pretty drained. It wasn't until Megan underwent surgery this past April that we finally received some clarity - Megan was diagnosed with stage 3 Endometriosis that is not surgically removable and has made the prospect of natural conception nearly impossible.

Despite the challenges we have faced, we hold fast to our hope. Our doctors have deemed us as great candidates for IVF (In Vitro Fertilization), and we feel God’s peace in starting this next step.

We plan to undergo the IVF retrieval procedure immediately this June, followed by the transfer in the fall after a much-needed period of rest and preparation.

We are in awe that we live in a time where this procedure is even a solution that can be pursued. At the same time, we are frustrated that we have to go down this route.

Every step of this journey comes with its own set of financial burdens, and that's why we are reaching out for help.

The costs associated with IVF are daunting, and they extend far beyond what we could have ever expected for even one round in California. IVF is not covered by our medical insurance, and we are paying out of pocket for all expenses. From medications to procedures to daily monitoring, the expenses quickly add up, but we refuse to let these financial barriers stand in the way of our dream and calling of becoming parents.

Our total treatment will cost $35k, this only covers one successful round of IVF, which includes IVF retrieval surgery, doctors’ appointments, monitoring ultrasounds, blood work, testing, stimulation meds, freezer storage, and one embryo transfer.
