In San Francisco, in the Mission, down an alley off of Florida that is shared with the Bike Kitchen and other beloved spaces, is a hacker/maker space like no other: Double Union.

Double Union, named for the mathematical principle, was formed to support the creative pursuits of women and non-binary individuals. It is an unapologetically feminist space for creation, collaboration, education and art exploration. Here, there is space to program, to hack, to solder, to sew, to write and publish zines, to screenprint and more.

We're steadily rebuilding our membership base post-COVID.

while making ongoing improvements to the space we obtained in 2023. All looks promising. 2026 may be our best year, yet!
