Dear friends, family, and kind-hearted strangers,

I am reaching out to you today with a heavy heart to share the story of my 91-year-old grandmother, Dorothy Palfrey, who has faced unimaginable losses over the past couple of months. Recently, Dorothy tragically lost her daughter, Janet Palfrey, and her grandson, Brian Balke, both of whom were integral parts of her life and brought her so much joy.

At 91, Dorothy is an incredible woman who has lived through many challenges, but this recent heartbreak has left her devastated. Her health, already fragile, has become more difficult to manage as she navigates this overwhelming grief. With the loss of Brian, who was a great support and primary caregiver, Dorothy is now facing significant financial challenges.

Without her daughter and grandson to help with daily living expenses, Dorothy's cost of living has increased drastically. As she is no longer able to care for herself in the same way, we are trying to make sure she gets the care and support she needs in this very difficult time.

We are asking for your generous support to help Dorothy continue to live comfortably and with dignity. The funds raised will go directly toward:
