Help Fund My Eagle Scout Project for Washington Elementary!

Hi, my name is Dorian Artiga, and I’m currently working toward earning the rank of Eagle Scout, the highest achievement in Boy Scouts. As part of this journey, I am organizing and leading a community service project to benefit Washington Elementary School. Specifically, it's kindergarten area.

For my Eagle Project, I will be designing, building, and painting a custom storage recess cart that will help the kindergarten teachers and students stay organized. This cart will provide much-needed storage for learning materials, making the outdoor area more fun for kids and promote being active.

Washington Elementary is one of the few schools in the south bay to offer dual immersion. I was lucky enough to be in the second cohort of students to attend, and I am honored to be able to give back to the teachers that helped me get started in my bilingual journey.

The cart will also have signs in English and Spanish to help the dual immersion students practice their Spanish, and possibly have the english-only students pick up on a couple words.

While I’m donating my time and effort, I need help covering the costs of materials, tools, and paint. Every donation, big or small, will go directly toward bringing this project to life.
