In new unfortunate news, multiple fires broke out in a Dorchester neighborhood on 10/1. Leaving my three younger siblings, Sean, Jocelyn and Jolie and their mom Shondice, displaced. Thankfully, everyone got out safely. The mom was hospitalized from inhaling too much smoke, and the 6-month-old cat died from smoke inhalation. While everyone is defeated and reeling from the events of that night, they're in a temporary housing situation, having lost all of their possessions to the fire.

With the teens recently starting school, I can only imagine how socially stressful that is. The most I can do right now is put up a GoFundMe and hope we can raise enough money to get them out of a temporary housing situation and get the kids some clothes for school again.
