Support Doran Reed's Children After Tragic Loss

On May 13, 2025, our worlds were devastated by the sudden loss of our brother, King Arthur Doran Reed. As much as our universe was shaken when we lost our brother, the lives of Doran's four kids, Caiden, Roxi, Nixon and Calliope, forever changed that day.

If you spent any time with Doran, you learned pretty quickly how important Family was to him - and that he adored his kids. Saying they meant everything to him is simply not strong enough to express how he strived to make their world as secure as he could. No one was ready for Doran to be taken like he was. Now, we sibs - Robi, Donna and Andrea - are turning to our village for help.

With two in college, one in high school and the other still in middle school, the disruption of Doran's loss has rocked every part of these kids' lives.

If only we could brag on them the way Doran would constantly, you would see how proud of each of them he was. Doran would always say 'Caiden knows no stranger. A walking research engine. He is the sweetest person I know.' Then he would gush over Roxi saying, 'She's so dang smart. She knows what she wants and isn't afraid to go after it. She speaks her mind with confidence and is usually right.' With Nixon, Doran would proudly confide, 'Nixon is like me. We are kindred spirits when it comes to our reptiles and our dogs. Except, he's much smarter than me. But don't tell him that!' And with his baby girl, Calliope, Doran was a pile of mush. 'Calliope has so many hidden talents,' he'd boast. 'She's an athlete and a girlie girl. I can't wait to see the roads she takes. Yes roads. She's fearless.'

Though these past weeks have been the hardest any of us have gone through, the Reed brood is hanging strong. With that said, we humbly ask for your support as we continue what Doran had started and raise kind, smart and talented human beings. Their wants, needs and dreams cannot end here with the overwhelming loss of their father.

Whatever it takes to support their goals, we are willing to do. The outpouring of love and support that we have received from family and Doran's friends and colleagues makes us confident in asking for your help with zero hesitation or shame.

Doran was the light and the love of our lives. The silly best friend and confident colleague. His spirited existence touched so many and his essence remains here on earth in the forms of Caiden, Roxi, Nixon and Calliope. Please - lets support them the way Doran wouldn't hesitate to support us.
