Support Don's Journey to Recovery

Hello, my name is Loran Visel, and I’m reaching out with a heavy heart to ask for your support. My dad, Don, recently suffered a severe stroke while we were on vacation in Florida. The stroke caused a major brain bleed, and he was rushed to the ICU, where he is currently fighting for his recovery.

At this time, my dad faces a long and difficult road ahead. He needs to relearn basic skills like walking, talking, and performing daily activities. It’s been incredibly overwhelming for our family, and we are doing everything we can to support him during this challenging time.

While we are grateful for the medical care he has received here in Florida, we need help to get him back home to Michigan where he can continue his rehabilitation closer to family and loved ones. Unfortunately, his insurance does not cover the cost of a medical flight, and the expenses to bring him home are beyond what we can afford on our own.

We’re asking for your help to fund a medically-assisted flight so my dad can return to Michigan and receive the ongoing care he needs.
