My name is Michelle. My husband, Don, was recently diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer with metastasis to the liver and told without chemo he had a month or so.

We're a family of 8, with him as the sole provider. He's unable to work and disability takes months to get.

We care for our autistic adult great-nephew, adopted daughter, and 4 grandchildren, all under 14 years old.

He's focused on treatment and worried about me and the children. My hope, with this GoFundMe, is that he'll not worry so much about us losing our home, falling behind on our bills, or keeping food on the table.

I want him to continue focusing on treatment, enjoying time with the family, and making memories instead of the financial stuff.

He's had 1 Cycle of Chemo and still has 3 more to go. As of now, he's doing ok with treatment and hasn't had any major side effects besides fatigue.
