Support Don Carlos: Help an Elderly Gardener

Hello my name is Melissa , I live in California and I am making this gofundme to raise money for Don Carlos.

Don Carlos was driving around my block and stopped at my home and asked if he could cut my yard. I told him my son was about to get home and cut it. He kindly waited for me to call my son and asked if he would cut it if not I would let him do it.

He insisted and said to me “Dejeme hacerlo y otro dia me paga.”

I agreed, the two things he asked for was $10 or whatever I wanted to give him and water.

I said of course, I told him my garage would be open for him to grab cold water from our fridge we have in the garage.

He said “ si me tiene confianza, abrame el garage.”

I am making this account to raise funds for him, he is an elderly hispanic man working in this heat. It was 100 degrees. Going house to house to find yards to cut. Whatever we raise will be given to Don Carlos.

I will be calling him tomorrow morning to let him know how many of us are willing to give a helping hand. Thank you so much to everyone.
